Hays Medical Center is the largest employer in Ellis County, and it is a significant economic driver and contributor to the quality of life we enjoy. Today, Kris and Doug discuss the challenges regarding rural healthcare and the Hays Medical Center/Blue Cross Blue Shield contract negotiations. 

With 66 homes completed and occupied, Heart of America's Tallgrass Commons Development has been a great success in bringing much needed attainable workforce housing the the marketplace. Today Kris and Doug discuss the history of the development and future development plans.

The Grove is a retiree-focused community located directly adjacent to Hays Medical Center. Construction is underway on the first 9 homes. Doug & Kris talk about the origins of the development and the amenities of living in The Grove.

The Grow Hays MicroFactory was constructed with over 3.7 million dollars in federal and private grants. In today's episode, Kris Munsch and Doug Williams talk about why the facility was built, the misinformation in the community regarding its use, and what is actually happening in the facility.
